Y3 and Y5 Trip to COAM

Year 3 and 5 had a wonderful day out at the Chiltern Open Air Museum (COAM). Each year group took part in hands-on workshops, trying out a range of activities. Year 3, who are studying the Stone Age, created shelters and attempted to make fire. Highlights for Year 5 (Anglo Saxon themed day) included practising Anglo Saxon writing in clay and creating broaches.

” This trip brought our history lessons alive. It was the best day ever,” Year 5 pupil.
