Trip to COAM

This week, one of our KS2 classes visited the Chiltern Open Air Museum and travelled back in time to experience what life was like in the past. After a morning trying out Stone Age activities, such as drawing with charcoal, shelter building, hunting with spears and making fire, we moved onto the Iron Age and learnt how to grind wheat, make flatbread, churn butter and mold a clay pot. The day was busy, we learnt lots and had great fun too.
