Cookery Day

On Thursday, our upper KS2 pupils took part in a wonderful cookery day. In the morning the children made two Moroccan inspired stews. They chopped the vegetables, prepared the salad and ground up a range of spices. They then prepared flatbreads made from flour and natural yoghurt. The children ate these dishes together at lunch at it was  truly delicious!

After lunch, the children then made fruit cupcakes and they got raving reviews too! A huge thank you goes to Mrs Mussell, Miss Allan and the parent helpers.
