Victorian Day

As part of their history topic, our eldest pupils had their Victorian Day. In the morning the children wrote in dip pens, had their appearance harshly inspected and enjoyed learning the 3 R’s (Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic). In the afternoon, they had yard time and finished the day off by doing needlework. Unfortunately, some of the children ended up wearing the “dunce cap” ( for fun) but they all enjoyed the day.
