Spring Wonderland

The children had a wonderful time during our annual Spring Wonderland Day on Monday.  Throughout the day they made dens, searched for minibeasts, made and painted flowers, planted some new vegetable plants that we hope they will be able to use in Cookery lessons next year, made instruments from recycled materials and were part of an interactive animal session (including snakes and tarantulas!). The children worked beautifully all day in mixed age groups, making staff very proud of their ability to work together so well. A huge thank you to the PTA for funding our animal visitors and to all the parent helpers who made the day possible. It’s great that we can provide such lovely activities for our children within our own environment.
